This learning dictionary of the English language was compiled based on the Cambridge International Corpus (with more than 500 million words, including 15 million words used by non-native learners of English). The dictionary contains approximately 70,000 headwords, more than 10,000 phrases, and more than 1,000 new words. Using the original guidewords function you can find your way easily to a word you are looking for. The definitions are written in easy-to-understand English, making it easy to use even for those who are not used to using English-English dictionaries.
